Firefox Extensions - My Recommendation

Firefox the best tool ever for browsing, and which I like other than tabbed browsing is
the extensions. I have tried and used a large no. of extensionsand here I would like to share the best ones which I am using right now.

Add this
This is a great bookmarking tool which supports almost all the major bookmarking sites like delicious, digg, etc.

Colorful Tabs

Change colors for different tabs

Clipmarks
This extension allows you to clip the best part of web pages and then save or blog them using Clipmarks.

Delicious Bookmarks
A great one. It integrates Firefox with del.icio.us. You can post to delicious as well as search based on tags.
Download Sort
If you download different types of files from web, this extension is a must for you. It automatically saves your downloads to different directories based on the file extension.

Download Status bar
View and mange your download from a tidy status bar instead of a separate downloads window. It has some good options like Auto scan the completed downloads.

Download them all
The first and only download manager/accelerator built inside Firefox.

Fancy Numbered Tabs

Say you want to go to the 5th Tab just press Ctrl + 5. To reach the first tab, press Ctrl + 1, for the second tab, press Ctrl + 2, and so on until the eighth since Ctrl + 9 is reserved for the last tab. If you are on a Mac replace the Ctrl key with the cmd key. Enters Fancy Numbered Tabs, a simple Firefox extension developed by Chris Gaunt, that replaces the tab close button with the position of the tab so you can quickly know what is the right shortcut . You can still close the tab by pressing the number button.

Gmail Manager

Allows you to manage multiple Gmail accounts and receive new mail
notifications.

Gmarks
Sync and manage Google Bookmarks with Firefox Bookmarks.

Greasemonkey
Now change the web pages as you want using small javascripts and Greasemonkey.

IE Tab

Embedding Internet Explorer in Firefox Tabs is an easy job with this. Now open two gmail accounts from a single browser.

HTML Validator

HTML Validator is a Mozilla extension that adds HTML validation inside Firefox and Mozilla. The number of errors of a HTML page is seen on the form of an icon in the status bar when browsing. The extension can validate the HTML sent by the server or the HTML in the memory (after Ajax execution) …

Minimize to tray
Minimizes Mozilla windows into the system tray. A nice one for users running several applications at once.

NewsFox
RSS/Atom New Reader - very similar to Google Reader.

ScreenGrab
It saves entire webpages as images.
ScribeFire
ScribeFire (previously Performancing for Firefox) is a full-featured blog editor that integrates with your browser and lets you easily post to your blog. Save notes, enable pings and bookmarks etc.

SEO Links

See search engine link counts and ranks for the page.

Session manager
It saves and restores the state of all windows either when you want it or automatically at startup and after crashes. Additionally it offers you to reopen (accidentally) closed windows and tabs.

Signature
Allows you to insert text by right clicking on a text box and selecting from a menu of predefined texts like email, sites, signature in forums etc.

A collaborative surfing tool for finding and sharing great sites using stumbleupon.com

Switch proxy
An extension that allows you to manage and switch between multiple proxy configurations quickly and easily.

Tab Mix Plus

Manage tabs flexibly. Options to set width for tabs along with the settings for tab rows count.

Video Downloader
This extensions resides in the bottom right side of the browser and allows you to download videos and all embedded objects from Youtube, Google, Metacafe, iFilm, Dailymotion etc. A great one.

Wml Browser

Simulate WAP browsing by viewing WML
